Meet our latest addition to the MAEN line-up, the Greenwich 38 Automatic GMT.
The Greenwich is the perfect travel watch with its GMT function and comfortable integrated rubber strap.
The dial offers very good legibility due to the oversized hour indicators.
At night, the watch is also a pleasure to look at due to the Swiss Super-LumiNova with superior Grade X1 quality.
The Greenwich has an elegant, but at the same time very powerful appearance.
The case design is based on our Hudson and is also 38mm in diameter.
There are some obvious differences though. First of all the Greenwich has a step up bezel with alternating brushed and polished effects.
The overall brushing is also more prominent. Next to that the crown is oversized and the case has lug holes.
With its 20 ATM water resistance and screw-down crown the Greenwich will feature as a great travel watch.
The Greenwich GMT Automatic is assembled in La Chaux-de-Fonds , Switzerland. Waterproof testing, entrance inspection and final quality control will also be performed in Switzerland.
The Swiss Made SwissTech S24-045 movement will be regulated to 12 ±12 sec/day accuracy. Each individual movement will be passing tests to certify the precision of the movement.
The Swiss Made label is a representation of the ultimate sign of quality - the perfect combination of function and design.
Most of you know by now that we are interested in the influence that the Dutch had on modern New York City. The Bronx, Brooklyn, Broadway, Harlem, Wall Street, Long Island. These and many more New York place names are known all over the world, but did you know those place names all come from Dutch?
GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time. This of course refers to Royal Observatory, Greenwich, outside of London, but for us Greenwich leads back to the year 1670 when a Dutchman moved from his village Greenwijck (Pine District) on Long Island to Manhattan, bought a plot of land and gave it a familiar name.
Eventually as Greenwijck became Greenwich and New York grew, the Village became part of the City and gave rise to an enclave of artists, poets, writers, and revolutionaries.
STRAP: Integrated Rubber Strap
STRAP WIDTH: 20mm narrowed down to 16mm
CLASP: 316L Stainless Steel butterfly clasp

The first 300 watches have a First Edition engraving on the caseback and will come with a First Edition certificate.
The Greenwich GMT has a 24H GMT scale behind the hour indicators allowing you to keep track of a second time-zone.
This feature can be very useful for those that travel regularly and/or are in contact with people in a different time-zone. The GMT hand is set easily via the 2nd position on the crown.
