In developing the Grand Tonneau Ultra Thin, our goal was to go beyond expectations and create something truly exceptional. The distinctive case design challenged us to push our technical boundaries, resulting in the thinnest watch we have ever produced.
At just 6.4mm thick, it achieves an impressive balance of elegance and performance—maintaining a 5 ATM water resistance rating while incorporating a display caseback represents a significant technical milestone. The ultra-thin profile enhances comfort on the wrist while preserving the distinctive tonneau-shaped case that defines the Grand Tonneau collection.
The dial is a defining feature of the new Grand Tonneau Ultra Thin collection. To complement the watch’s slim profile, we developed a refined two-layer construction that adds depth without adding thickness.
At its foundation is a brass dial, finished with a rich fumé effect and stamped with a subtle grain texture. This is overlaid with a transparent enamel glaze, which enhances depth and vibrancy while preserving the watch’s ultra-thin proportions.
The collection is offered in four striking colorways: black fumé, turquoise fumé, yellow fumé, and lava red fumé.
In order to make this watch as thin as possible without sacrificing quality – rather, increasing it – The La Joux-Perret D101 manual-wind movement has been chosen to compliment the ultra-thin nature of this timepiece.
The choice of this movement allows for both a seamless fit and an intimate connection between the watch and its owner. Displayed through an open sapphire caseback, the blued screws and precise Côtes de Genève finishing tie precision and beauty together into one ultra-thin package.
For the Grand Tonneau Ultra Thin, we developed an all-new bamboo-style bracelet, designed specifically for both the Ultra Thin and Jump Hour models. It is fitted with a perlage-finished butterfly clasp and features quick-release end links for added convenience.
The bracelet’s distinctive construction follows the natural flow of the bezel, creating a seamless, fully integrated appearance. At the same time, it retains the flexibility to be easily interchanged with a rubber strap, offering both refinement and versatility.
